Customs Duties & Import Taxes

BodiCafe products are shipped from the United States as personal imports. Depending on your order amount and the items, import consumption tax and customs duties (and a customs clearance fee) may apply when your package arrives in Japan. If they apply, they are paid by the customer to the delivery carrier (Japan Post) upon delivery.

• Smaller orders are often not taxed, but the larger the order total, the more likely duties and taxes will apply.
• The amount varies depending on the type and quantity of the products and the customs assessment at the time.
• Purchases from our store are treated as "personal imports," and the products are for the buyer's personal use only. Responsibility for the import lies with the customer.
• Some ingredients may be subject to import restrictions. In such cases, the order will be canceled and refunded.
